These earrings sort of defy description. They aren't really hoops, they aren't really dangle earrings, and they're for sure not post earrings. I'm calling them blade earrings because they look a bit like a mezzaluna, a disc-shaped knife. They have heat-hardened, hammered ear wires with latches to keep them secure, hammered into a slight disc shape for texture and movement. Please note there are three sizes: x-large at 1" diameter, large at about 3/4" (20mm), and small at 5/8" (15mm). They all have the exact same hammering and latch closure.
