If you've never heard of Moissanite, it is a man made diamond look alike that is almost identical to a diamond. Moissanite sparkles like a diamond and has almost the same hardness as a diamond (a 9.5 on the Moh's chart). Moissanites differ from diamonds in that they are man made and therefore completely ethical and conflict free.
Moissanite is an excellent substitute for April's birthstone.
