Using a very hot torch with a tiny flame I can melt sterling silver into tiny balls, or "pins". In this way, I can create little decorative elements that also serve to hold this piece together. I use this technique a lot, I love the way it looks and strategically melting wire is really fun!
This pendant is made of two sides, formed the same way and held together by these pins. It is solid oxidized sterling silver and can come with the chain length of your choice. The one shown is 20". I am keeping this one but I'd love to make one of these pendants just for you!
